What winding rivers , our minds embrace. From Mother Earth , through time and space. To see beyond, The dark and cold, One must grow up. One must grow old. To get respect, We must deserve it. To have a future, We must preserve it. To see the light, We must receive it. To carry on, We need believe it. It is a lovely day. But later it will rain. The kids come in from play, And track the floor again. The forecast called for blue skies. The clouds roll slowly in. The rain pours down upon us, And soaks us to the skin. Fair to partly cloudy, Is what they should have said. Take along your raincoat, And something for your head. The weather man is often wrong.
